How do I disable Windows 7 Magnifier all together? It have the check box unchecked for starting at startup but my mouse button still starts it. I use to use that button for something else and Windows will not let me map it to the other application.
Any help would be appreciated.

Give this a try:
Click on the Start button
All Programs
Accessories
Ease of Access Center
Then click on 'Make the computer easier to use' near the bottom.
Then unchecked 'Turn On Magnifier'. Hit OK and you're done.

Did you try using all the suggestions provided in the previous posts?
If the previous suggestions don't work, then I would suggest you to try following steps and check if it helps.
a. Press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" keys together.
b. Click on the icon on the lower left corner of the screen.
c. Uncheck "Make items on the screen larger(Magnifier)" option.

Open task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del and select magnify.exe from the list of processes and click end process button.
I love how you make it sound soooo simple. Yet that didn't work on mine. I went there, checked the control center for "ease of access". The magnifier was unselected. I restarted my system and BAM! Whatya know!! The magnifier is STILL THERE!! So you're instructions may work for some, but not for all when it comes to the "ease of access panel" I have also tried renaming the file in the system32 folder, it didn't work either. I'm getting quite frustrated with the whole thing and this threat is very unhelpful at this point.
Anyone else with some useful ideas?
This only helps when you're in your session. you can exit out of magnifier easily by clicking the "X". We are looking for ways to stop it from auto starting at "start up" This wouldn't be very helpful in this situation.
