How do I get Classic Folder Icons Back?

Still no solution other than NOT using my new notebook and going back to my old computer.  I am so glad I paid thousands of dollars for a NEW computer and new Windows, only to have the expensive NEW stuff drive me absolutely crazy every single day and waste hours upon hours of my time.  THANK YOU SO MUCH WINDOWS FOR MAKING MY JOB TAKE TWICE AS LONG TO DO, WITH THE SAME RESULTS AS BEFORE, no increase in sales, no rise in profits with THE NEW IMPROVED, PERFECT, WONDERFUL WINDOWS 7.   I moved to a new computer to GET FASTER in my business and make more money.....but it has slowed me down to a crawl having to search through every single folder (which there are THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of) to find the pictures I need to run my business DAILY....This is the biggest expense I have had, with no return, only huge profit losses.  thanks...

Your replies to my question and plea for help are so bad, so worthless, I cannot believe you even wrote them here as an answer!  There needs to be a patch, or a solution to this problem.  I am not the only person out there who needs to see CLEARLY what is in my picture folders.  My business depends on pictures....do you get it?  You cannot simply change the folders to something you think is "cool" with pictures peeking out of the folders like a hide and seek game.  Did you ever think people need something so simple as plain, flat folders to hold their pictures, with a cover picture telling us what is inside, to run their business?  To make their livelihood?  Oh wait, we are going to improve Windows and make it better than ever before, faster, smarter, easier to use.....Windows 7 is the answer to all the problems of Vista and previous versions of Windows!!!  Now that I have bought your sales & marketing techniques, and believed  you, and purchased the software, you need to make it right.  You need to give people the choice of how they want their pictures stored.  We listened to you and believed you and paid the money for your improvements, which are not improvements.  There is not one thing in Windows 7 that I could not live without.  There is nothing that makes my business run faster/quicker/more profitable.  Not one thing....and you  have taken away my ability to work quickly.  What a bargain Windows 7 was...

Shawn, I have the folder icon as the large one with a large picture sticking out, but with beads in the photos, I cannot see which beads they actually are until I open the folder, and as I said, I have thousands and thousands of them....NOT a help

Lisa, I have left my suggestion on the Windows7 Feedback Forum, but of course, no one has responded or even noticed....that is such a HUGE waste of time, which I do not have extra time to waste, seeing as how I spend my days searching through FOLDERS to find PICTURES of my products to run my business.  NOT a help...

I too came here trying to restore the flat folders. I do not like these folders at all. I do web design and work with tons of graphics and image folders and this is driving me crazy.

Go to your stored folder on your EHD, and select any file.  Then hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard while you scroll your mouse wheel to turn up the preview size.
