Here you go,
In Windows Explorer, click Organize / Folder and Search options / View Tab.
Remove the Check Mark from the Always show Icons never Thumbnails option.
Click Apply / OK.

Hi everybody,
It seems that I've some kind of problem with the PREVIEW PANE of the EXPLORER which only works for pictures and not for others type of files ( for video it only shows a pic, doesn't work for .txt, .pdf etc).
Would you know how to fix this problem ?

2015-07-02T16:26:24+00:00 Well, after doing all the fixes above, I went back to the "Organize" drop down menu, selected "Layout" and checked "Preview Pane",
walla! it worked! The simplest solution that I've seen.....

2015-05-22T02:48:40+00:00 Did as you say here Mark and it returned message there were some problems it couldn't fix and to look at cbs.log file for information. I looked at that file and the only word there was Finish!
And I still have the problem of no preview. Some file types (wordperfect) it says no preview available. Others it says nothing at all.

it is one of the windows programs responsible for supplying the preview.
that was the answer to my problem.
