Need Xbox 360 Chatpad driver

Hi,

one year ago i buy a Xbox 360 Controller Made by Microsoft Corporation and a Chatpad for it. on the box was info about use for Windows-based PCs but until now no driver... so i am here to ask for some help. For now i can turn the backlight on sending

ctrl 0x41 0x0 0x1f 0x02 # Init (without this, no led wil work)

i also have acess to USB protocol analyzer (but it is not mine... sorry) to have the info that travell between the controller and the Xbox

also we can recive one key press but after it is dead.... and i dont know why... a lot of people are working on it but microsoft made it so at leas you can help us to try make a driver...

2nd byte flags:

shift/capslock = 0x01

square = 0x02

circle = 0x04

people = 0x08

3rd byte keycodes:

1 = 0x17

2 = 0x16

3 = 0x15

4 = 0x14

    There IS a Wired driver that was developed by a user in an HTPC forum, it was a contest and the winner obtained almost $500, and donated it to charity.

    What I'm waiting for is a wireless driver, but microsoft doesn't care about the users of their products enough to even respond correctly.

    Any and all hope we have of seeing one will most likely lay in the hands of that forum.

    Does anyone think this will ever be resolved?

    i really cant believe that Microsoft would allow Sony to create a better solution to a problem that exist inside there environment.

    I just went on a head and bought the ps3 keypad, works great with motion in joy and xpadder. Already had the ps3 controller anyway, but considering the amount of years this thread have been ignored I would place my bet on that it wont come this decade.

    I am also waiting for the day when people actually read the full post and take in all of what it says.  Using only part of my post doesn't really make your point.  Now, go back, reread my original post again, and comprehend it this time.

    What you fail to realize is that most of the people needing a driver here are people why play games on their computer as if it were a console, plugged into a TV and many feet away from the keyboard. This is about more than remapping buttons, it's about a portable keyboard.

    Also, I find it funny how based on your posts, your signature back from 2009 goes well with your history with replying to this subject.

    Although I know for a fact this will do nothing, Microsoft; fix this, lol...

    I was going to buy controller and chat pad even though I don't own a xbox 360, now I won't or at least not until it works.

    Already got ps3 and it seems like that one works...

    I thought the xbox 360 + chatpad had the best solution but several years old thread and no efforts, good going...
