Can you help trouble shoot Sharper Image Internet Weather Station EC-WS115?

I got this as a gift. It came without a software disk. After emailing customer support I got a link to the the following software:

I downloaded this software.  It brings up the software images on my screen ... I can enter my home location in the software ... but the software never connects to the internet ... so I star all over again.  The installation and troubleshooting guide for this software can be found at:

This gadget is supposedly compatible with Windows 7.  I am running Windows 7 Pro on my HP Computer.

    My WS is still down at 11:20 AM 6/5/2012.  Hope your news is a good sign for all of us.  Ps I'm in Eastern Pennsylvania.  I wonder if the outage is location related as well.  Could you post the State your in?

    I have been following this thread for a couple of days now and I too have experienced the blank info and a date of 11/4, 11/3 etc. For whatever reason it started working tonight for me. I guess the server is back up from the move?

    Hope so!  I'm at work so I didn't get a chance to look this morning.  I'll check when I return home and update.

    Thanks ept8202 and all  for all your help on this - I too have had the exact same problem the past week.  Was working perfectly then nothing.  Hours off, date showing 11/3 all of it.  Hopefully they get this server issue resolved - I'll be looking for  your continued updates from you or to see if the software finally has incoming data.  At least then we'll know we are on the right track!

    Hi, I bought one about 5 years ago and I was running windows xp, did not have a problem, then I installed win 7 pro was working fine till about 3 days ago and everything went blank except for time which was 4 hours behind, I to have spent hours on this thing to no prvail. I believe the company that supplies the information to the device is no longer in business, I need help with this issue as well.
