I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

Can we get an answer on this?!! I have been following this thread for a long time. I bought my wheel specifically to use it on my pc with XP and now I have win 7 and still can't use ffb....which was why I bought the wheel in the first place.
I'm not one of those people that hate Microsoft and use a $ when saying it. I think most companies have a right to make money. But this is the kind of thing that people are saying when they say Micro$oft. Are you too damn big to make a driver promised years ago to customers expecting quality support? This is a damn shame! How hard would it be? Windows 7 WAS MY IDEA!!!
I'm selling this thing. All I ask for is a simple driver to make this thing do what you said it would do.....and promised to make an operating system ago. This is a travesty
Can we get an answer on this?!! I bought this thing years ago to work with my Win XP system and now I have win 7 and it still doesn't provide FFB. How hard is it to make a flipping driver?!! The answer is it isn't.

Is Micro$oft too damn big to create a measly driver to support a product as they should, and as was promised an operating system ago? Any other small company would have had this handled and customers satisfied.

I have this wheel since 3 years old and i love it in 360 but in my PC whiith seven 64 bits it s a nightmare because i just have ridiculus rumble and NO Force feedback at all!! in ALL racing games!!!!
May be beta drivers will be coming out from a team?
Its too bad because i will selling it and buy a the awsome G27 = 2 ffb engines ...
I know the G27 works on xbox360 with a small adaptator = 80 $ OUCH!!!
I love playing on 360 and PC but i ll do make compromises WHY?????
I will buy the G27 just for FFB on my PC and the H shiffter!
