I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

Meanwhile - I'm driving along in all my PC Driving games, feeling every bump, and able to adjust all the spring parameters - LMAO.
How ? Because I use a Logitech MOMO wheel (G27 from march 2012) with my Win7 674bit machine. Lucky guy eh! I've got a console too. It's in with the TV where it belongs. (an ancient PS2 used to play DVD movies - lol ).
I had a MS mouse once - It broke. I had a MS Strategic Commander - It broke..... So while MS may not be supporting it's own hardware the problem is not to do with Win7, only the lack of support MS peripherals.

Win7. Once I stripped away, and worked around the BS I got a nice version of XP with DX 10 & 11. Had to have an OS with the new machine, so Win7 had to do.
lol nice, I'm going to get myself a Logi G25 at some point.
But it's funny you should mention the MS Mouse/Stratcom etc...Most Microsoft stuff I've owned has had an abnormally short life.

Don't buy Microsoft!

The G13 controller is nice too. I have it on a keyboard (piano keyboard) stand so I can sit back with both arms to the side and frag in comfort. The Strat comm was a good layout, but the buttons = merd. Actually (it's sort of embarrassing) I went through three of them in 6 yrs.
I gave up and bought a Logitech MOMO for my PC.
Ok, Microsoft peeps, read this very slowly and carefully...that wheel was the LAST piece of your hardware I will ever buy in my lifetime, and I will shout from the rooftops about your lack of support on this issue. While I am fully aware that you could not care less about little old me, if I can save just one other person from becoming a victim of your callous treatment, I will feel vindicated.
