I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

I too bought this wheel and wireless reciever expecting to have the relevant drivers to be released. But as to be expected microsoft's poor customer relations and false promises ring true. This problem could have been avioded if they were not so money hungry and just let logitech produce a force feedback compatible wheel for the xbox 360 instead of this xinput rubbish they have forced upon us, why have not given us the options as if they are running a dictatorship is a farce, perhaps it was obvious that instead of putting cash into their multi-million dollar bank account many of us here would be playing with a G25/G27 or Driving force pro rather than typing in this thread.
All that said now that the wheel is out of production it is unlikely that we will see this (promised) update for windows ever and if it were to, the wheel which is of poor quality will have randomly malfunctioned long before.
I'd love to have this as well.
One of the reasons I bought the Xbox 360 Racing Wheel in the first place was the Microsoft's solid reputation of quality hardware and also the fact that one day I could play at least the Games for Windows -label games with it. As a PC with Windows 7 currently is the best gaming platform and all the previously mentioned games coming soon, the Force Feedback support/drivers for the Xbox 360 Racing Wheel are needed perhaps more than ever.
