Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

    If their is no planned driver support, then just please update your marketing site to match, otherwise it will cause more confusion.http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/

    I don't know why you marked this as an answer.  My questions have not been answered!

    Can you tell us:

    Are force feedback drivers being developed?

    When are they likely to be developed?

    Why hasn't this page http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ been updated to let people know there's no driver yet (perhaps ever)?

    I want to buy a racing wheel for my PC that has force feedback, but I don't want buy one until I know for sure that the one I currently own doesn't/wont work. 

    Please don't mark this thread as answered until you've heard back from the drivers team/racing wheel team/whoever develops the drivers for these things.

    All,

       I'm looking into this situation.  So far I haven't found any information about Force Feedback drivers being developed at this time.  However if you would like to leave some feedback with the Windows 7 team to request that driver then here is a link:
