Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

Cheers.

Surely a Thrustmaster driver could be adapted for this wheel, One exists which has the same rotation and similar buttons, would it be possible to do this?

A community Driver would be the greatest thing ever.

Glad this thread hasn't been allowed to die and go quietly.  I'm a developer but wouldn't know where to start trying to make a custom driver.  Seems like the kind of fun challenge the "community" usually rises to though but it's been years now and no driver.

I got the wheel for 360 and originally got involved with this post because I was trying to work out if getting the wireless kit to use it with PC would be worth it (and without force feedback, forget it).   360 now gathering dust so would love to use wheel with project cars, grid 2, raceroom etc but can't justify buying yet another wheel for how infrequently I play.

I wonder if they'll support it when the Windows drivers for the Xbox One compatible Logitech g920 are released?
