Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

Cheers.

    Dear 19slash82,

Glad to hear your reply. I will try this game later and try the FFB. I hope that all the coming racing games can support the FFB of xbox360 racing wheel, and some of our programming expert brothers can read this reply and do something to develop the driver from F1 2010. So that we can enjoy the FFB from the old racing game.

I broke down and bought a Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 FF wheel for 113.00 on Buy.com no tax free shipping, Ya Baby!

Considered the Logitech GT FF, but wanted the bigger Steering wheel.  Love it.  Very happy :-)

Works with some PS3 games too but not as many as the Logitech GT FF

So now I have a XBOX 360 wheel great for the XBOX 360 which I have alot of racing games paid for already and got this one which works with some PS3 games and a huge amount of PC games.

Still bummed about MS not giving FF for PC on the XBOX 360 FF wheel and the fact that steering left and right is equivalent to hitting your keyboard left/right keys (really awful) on PC.
