Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

Cheers.

The Wheel uses two separate sets of motors, one set for rumble, or vibration (just like any game pad), and other set for the FF. If the FF motor are not accesible from an existing driver, it's very unlikely that someone will figure out how to use them from scratch. Possible? of course, everything is possible in this life. But you have more chance to win in Euro Millios xDDD

Rumble = Vibrations (what you get on a gamepad)

Force feedback = Turning the wheel

The game just thinks that the wheel is a gamepad and sends rumble.  It's not sending any force feedback.

sorry for my english, i'm italian, rumble means like vibrations right? so the game can move the wheel engines. it means there is driver for the wheel right?  i think, if we can extract that driver and change it like the ffb drivers in rFactor to increase the ffb effect of the original game, can be work? thank you for listening me. This game is the only life signal i've had from the wheel from my pc

Just tried my wheel with newly purchased F1 2010.

Doen't work I'm afraid to say :(  There is rumble, but no force feedback at all.  I have a feeling 19slash82 is getting the two mixed up.

Getting nearer and nearer to my G27 purchase :(
