I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

so i only just found this thread, as i own a MS wireless wheel, and have only just rebuilt my PC for gaming, and wanted to use this wheel.
Its disappointing that this wheel wont work with FFB on the PC - not much point really.
So my question to those watching this thread is, is there another wheel out there in the market that would provide full FFB forboththe 360 and PC? i have an old Logitech wheel which im sure will work with the PC, but i'm hoping to avoid having to switch wheels/pedals on my racing seat every time i want to use a different platform.
Do any of the logitechs work with the 360? its been a while since ive researched any of this, so my knowledge is probably outdated.

I have been chasing MS for a wireless driver with FFB since purchase, both via here, phone, letters and email.
they just ignore everything, the wireless driver is never going to come.
Unfortunately, we have to accept that Microsoft aren't the software legends they once were.
They have discontinued this product and will NOT be adding force feedback support to the PC Windows Driver.
As annoying as this is...Unfortunately this is the only ANWSER we'll get so I suggest we all accept this as the anwser and just steer clear (Get it?) of microsoft accessories.
Stick to the PS3 for racing titles and get a Logitech G25/G27 wheel and that'll support PS2/PS3/PC with all effects.
Until future notice Microsoft are losing the battle against APPLE so I don't think their main concern is with this wheel.
Although Microsoft has indeed published info about the compatibility of their steering wheel, and the eventual inclusion of ffb for windows...it's a product sold under the xbox 360 banner, and not the win pc banner. Get up off yer lazy duffs, get a job, and by a pc compatible wheel like the rest of us! ffb on my Logitech Momo wheel is quite excellent...spank you all very much!
Oi troll...They advertised it as VISTA COMPATIBLE and said that FORCE FEEDBACK SUPPORT WOULD BE AVAL.
Then discountinued the product and screwed people.
So as for trollin' how bout you go and put you go with yer MOMO (Which is ____ compared to the G25 might'n'i'add and go F&"*! yourself.
