I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

You can get an adapter.
Are you using an adapter to get the G27 working? The only wheels I have seen that note that they have 360 capabilities as well as PC has been a couple on the Fanatec series.

It just makes no sense to me, the best racing sims are on PC, or Xbox 360, yet there is very little selection that is confirmed as compatible with both.

But I've gone with Logitech, as it supports my Xbox & PC.

There are no Monopoly$oft reps or employees here. If they do visit they don't let on.
The best alternative is to avoid XBOX stuff on PC and use Logitech.
Logitech Momo, G27, G25 and other models that have come after the MOMO
wheels all have fully functional driver/ profiling software for Win7 - 32 & 64bit.
My racing games - Col McRae Rally '04, through to DIRT 3 , Need for Speed series up to Shift, V8 Supercars 3, Flatout 2, Burnout Paradise, all work well with Logitech wheels (some older games don't support a throttle and brake independently by default).
The MOMO is still a good wheel. The G27 is great.
Monopoly$oft has insinuated itself into the gaming industry and has been trying to make all games use their product by default since the 'Games for Windows' scam began, but you don't have to use their peripherals at all. It's just that you can't 'plug and play', and need to make your own profile in the Logitech (or other mfg ) profiling software with some games.
Ten minutes that too many people don't want to use. Just like in the good old days before games started having the 'Games for Windows' logo on the box. it is possible to take control of you machine back from MS.
For those insist on using Monopoly$ofts peripherals my understanding is that

will allow for full functionality or XBOX stuff on Win7 -
