I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

I'd like to add my vote to this.
Got and likethe MS wireless wheel for forza 3 (& 4), upgrading PC into a gaming monster(!) and thinking that that's the format I'll get F1 2011 on (not serious enough to sell and replace/upgrade to a G27 etc).
I came across this feed whilst researching whether the wireless controller dongle would work and if it did I would buy one but as that's the only reason I'd be buying it (got a usb 360 pad for regular games on pc), the only way I would buy one is with full use of the wheel and all of its features.
If the marketting materials mentioned in this post claim one thing but the reality is different then if I hadn't read this first I'd be pissed right now. As it is I cant trust the marketting so will check here (and the driver pages) for when the FFB is done (but I'm not holding my breath given how long it's been).

Force Feedback drivers are NEEDED for this WINDOWS based steering wheel.
Drivers were SUPPOSED to be released.
Excellent man, keep it up! and if there is anything I as well as anyone else can do anything to help, just let us know.

I bought both the steering wheel and wireless receiver at an Australian store using Australian dollars and it would have been distributed by Microsoft Australia (an Australian company). Therefore the company are legally bound by the consumer laws of Australia. Can't see how they can escape. I also know that the ACCC love to prosecute high profile companies.
