Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

    Thanks for getting back with us "mike", feel like i need to give up on Microsoft like how you gave up on us. The LEASTthey could do is tell us there is no hope for the update.

    Just set my wheel up with NetKar Pro and...as loose as anything. No feedback what so ever.

    Hi guy,sorry for my bad english!

     I have this wheel since 3 years old and i love it in 360 but in my PC whiith seven 64 bits it s a nightmare because i just have ridiculus rumble and NO Force feedback at all!! in ALL racing games!!!!

    May be beta drivers will be coming out from a team?

    Its too bad because i will selling it and buy a the awsome G27 = 2 ffb engines ...

    I know the G27 works on xbox360 with a small adaptator = 80 $ OUCH!!!

    I love playing on 360  and PC but i ll do make compromises WHY?????

    I will buy the G27 just for FFB on my PC and the H shiffter!

    So thank you Microsoft and ADIOS...

    Can we get an answer on this?!!  I bought this thing years ago to work with my Win XP system and now I have win 7 and it still doesn't provide FFB.  How hard is it to make a flipping driver?!!  The answer is it isn't.

    I'm not one of those people that use an $ when talking about Microsoft.  I think every company has a right to make money.  But this is a great example of why they do.  Is Micro$oft too damn big to create a measly driver to support a product as they should, and as was promised an operating system ago?  Any other small company would have had this handled and customers satisfied.

    Make this happen.  I'm sick of reading this thread.  Sick of checking back and I'm ready to sell this thing.  Not to mention Linux is starting to look really good too.  Ridiculous!
