I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

I highly doubt that they will ever produce drivers for the PC with force feedback. We will be better off buying a third party wheel for the PC and keeping the Microsoft wheel for the Xbox360.
Dear Microsoft,
I have been waiting for you to release a Windows 7 FFB driver for the Microsoft Racing Wheel (It still amazes me how a Microsoft product would not work on Windows). I've also been frustrated that you have not released a wheel/pedal set for a true driving simulator (one with gated shifter and 3 pedals with realistic feel of real clutch, brake, and gas pedals). Not only that, when a 3rd party makes such a product (i.e. Logitech G25), you would not let it function on the Xbox 360. I've been asking this for a while, but now I'm just fed up.
If you're going to make Forza 3 exclusive to xbox, at least let me use a real driving wheel like the G25.
I'm jumping ship and giving my money to Sony. I won't be playing forza on it, and it's not like their customer service is much better, but at least I can use my G25 on it.
I think a lot of driving simulator enthusiasts will be leaving xbox. Just letting you know.
