Force Feedback on Xbox 360 Racing Wheel using Wireless Gaming Reciever in Windows 7

I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.

It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.

This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.

I to would be interested in if this work is progressing.  If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

    I emailed Eurogamer to see if they wanted to do an article about Microsoft's poor driver support.  

    Why don't you guys email your favourite games news sites?

    That's because they couldn't care less, now that they're not making it any more they don't see it as a priority

    What do we want?       "Force feedback on the PC for our 360 wheels!!!!"

    When do we want it?    NOW!!!!!!

    Sent in the following e-mail to microsoft:

    Message: I purchased the xbox 360 wireless racing wheel a while back, along with the wireless adapter so as I could use it with pc games too. When I chose this product it came with the promise that drivers would be released for the wheel so as the force feedback would work when played on the pc. The page showing this promise is linked below.

    So far no such driver has been released. The support forums show that many other people are experiencing the same problems and would like to know what the situation is. This purchase was made in the understanding that it would be the best option for me once the driver was released and that Microsoft would hold up their promise, if I had known that was not going to be the case I would have made a different purchase in the first place that would have provided me with the ability to use the full fuctionality of a racing wheel on both my xbox 360 and pc.

    This was the reply:

    in the meantime are we sure it is legal to advertise a product with certain functionality and then never deliver it? do we not have a case to raise because I feel genuinely mis sold. Did we not all buy this on the basis it was a joint solution for xbox and windows. If they had have sold it honestly I would have bought a fanatec wheel.
