I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

I'm looking into this situation. So far I haven't found any information about Force Feedback drivers being developed at this time. However if you would like to leave some feedback with the Windows 7 team to request that driver then here is a link:

They wouldn't, Xbox Live doesn't release drivers for Windows 7 or Vista. I don't know why that was suggested unless Ajay misread your question.
A user doesn't have to be registered with Live or own a 360 to use this wheel on their pc, it's just another peripheral. That needs a proper driver.
I hope this gets more attention soon and we at least get an ETA on this or confirmation that it's being worked on as stated. Being more of a driver issue, I started a similar discussion in that forum.
Yeah, I contacted Xbox support but they're useless, to put it politely.
After about ten emails back and forth with Alice, Lily, Eva, Lina, Emmy and Karen from Xbox support they gave me this reply:

They had no idea what I was talking about. How will connecting to Xbox LIVE get me a Windows driver?
I too am using this wheel with Windows 7 by means of the wireless receiver. Basic functions work, but I would like information about when the force feedback drivers will be available, like the original and subsequent posters.
