In Win 7, when I move a window near the edge of the screen, the window expands to full screen.  How do I turn off this feature?

Hi

When you move a window near the edge of the screen, the action that initiates the Aero Snap feature is when the mouse pointer contacts the edge of the screen. You can disable this feature.

Open Control Panel / Ease of Access Center / Make the Mouse easier to use.

Place a check mark in the Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.

Apply/OK.

    Do you know where this setting is on Windows 10? It doesn't show up in the same place as W7.  Help is appreciated.

    They do...but they are ordinary human beings who have not used the product before.   Or focus groups who are asked about where things should be...without having to worry about the issue of 'but everyone is used to it being somewhere else'.

    Thank you for bringing up the question....and what is the answer to "where is the Select All option"??? When I need it, which is very seldom, I don't have time to screw around looking for it so I just scroll to select all.  If you could help me on this it would be very much appreciated.

    Why they thought this should be the default setting, I will never know...but thank god I finally decided to Google it and see if it could be turned off, and found this!!
