Windows expand to full screen -- how to turn off?

In Win 7, when I move a window near the edge of the screen, the window expands to full screen.  How do I turn off this feature?

Hi

When you move a window near the edge of the screen, the action that initiates the Aero Snap feature is when the mouse pointer contacts the edge of the screen. You can disable this feature.

Open Control Panel / Ease of Access Center / Make the Mouse easier to use.

Place a check mark in the Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.

Apply/OK.

    What?  Go thru all the trouble to sign up to Windows to get the answer to the above question just to have to repeat the question?  Why does everything have to be so complicated?  That's not my question!  How do I get my screen to collapse?  Don't even know why it expanded.  I was in the middle of typing a letter to someone thru Jpay and all of a sudden my computer blacked out.  When it came back, the screen was expanded.  Please respond.

    I have gone into control panel/ease of access center. cannot find link "make the mouse easier to use."

    Its funny bc I had the same problem with both of my operating systems, and I found that I had to switch mouse USB ports on my G11 Keyboard... this was after I followed the advice first given to u, and after I had switched USB ports and found that my windows would no longer snap to full window (not fullscreen) I had to turn off > *Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.
