Windows expand to full screen -- how to turn off?

In Win 7, when I move a window near the edge of the screen, the window expands to full screen.  How do I turn off this feature?

Hi

When you move a window near the edge of the screen, the action that initiates the Aero Snap feature is when the mouse pointer contacts the edge of the screen. You can disable this feature.

Open Control Panel / Ease of Access Center / Make the Mouse easier to use.

Place a check mark in the Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.

Apply/OK.

    Yeah, that double-click move is pretty neat. It goes to the bottom too if you double-click the lower border. (Or left or right too, but for all directions it only seems to work if there is some value in the cell.) 

    I just wish it would activate the Back and Forward navigation buttons so you can get back to wherever you were. (Those maybe work with hyperlinks or cells referencing other cells or something M$ is keeping a secret.)

    Now if I can only figure out how to get Excel from jumping to the top or bottom of a column when my double-click in a cell touches the cell border. Another "feature" I cannot believe anyone needed. 

    Cool. I didn't know about this one. It seems to do the same as Ctrl+Arrow.

    Actually I think this will come in handy. 

    Especially when dealing with large tables. But only useful in combination with the SHIFT key to select that region.

    Thank you. I am so glad I Googled this most annoying problem and was led to this page. This feature has been bugging me since the folks in Redmond decided to do this.
