Teredo tunneling pseudo interface shows a yellow exlamation mark in Device Manager. Windows 7 Ultmate 64

First thing I would like to suggest you is to uninstall and reinstall the device from device manager and verify if the yellow exclamation mark disappears.

You can also try updating your network driver by following these steps:

• Right click the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
• Update Driver Software...
• Browse my computer for driver software
• Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
• Select from the list and update the driver.

Also you may get this mark because the network adapter may not be compatible with Windows 7. Request you to contact the manufacturer’s website and download the latest driver/adaptor that is compatible with Windows 7.

I have tried every step listed above and nothing works.  Microsoft doesn't even recognize its own product.  So, now what am I to do?  This issue has been ongoing for months and no fix seems to be available.

• I did both options...Option #2 fixed my problem with the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter (no more yellow ! beside it & in the properties box it says it is working properly) but, I still cannot connect to the internet. Can someone please tell me what else I can do to fix this problem of not being able to get on the internet. Thank you very much.

Quit blaming ZoneAlarm. I do not and have NEVER used Zone Alarm.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. And about an hour ago I took a picture with my Canon G-12 that I use A LOT and attached it to my computer.

All of a sudden I am not getting that pop-up USB icon in the system tray. I try making sure I have auto-play to open folders and files and on the Canon and so on. The camera works, I can go to computer and click the camera icon and open the folder that way but it's not "NORMAL".

I then decided to open up Device Manager for the fun of it and there is the Network Expanison open with this Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface with a yellow exclammation on it.

I did the sfc scan and no problems popped up.

I did the other option to uninstall and reinstall, came back up with yellow exclammation.

I did the option to use Command Prompt as Admin and the netsh stuff.

I did yet the other option to go into regedit and change the parameter to 0 (it did say 8e).

I even uinstalled it and tried doing Windows Update-everything shows up-to-date.

I am at my wit's end.

I am about to try ST's last post with his solution, although I am very leery of doing this. But anything I found on this site and those other sites is NOT fixing the problem.

I had this same yellow exclamation in my Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface, and only way I could find to fix it was by using the "free" driver updater program.

It's call "Slim Drivers" and if you do a google search for it, you can download the free version or here is where you can download it. Go to CNet's web page and type in the top right search area "Slimdrivers free" and then you can update your drivers to fix this.
