I can't use programs that require .NET Framework.

I'm trying to use a program that has previously worked flawlessly. This program is called GHTCP, which is used with Guitar Hero 3 PC. It requires .NET Framework 2.0 or higher to use. All of sudden, the program just stopped working. I asked to program creator about this, and he said that it sounds like a .NET Framework so here I am.

I'm running Windows Vista. I've tried uninstalling and then installing .NET Framework 3.0 but thats not working. I found that .NET Framework is part of the OS so I can't remove it. Is there any way aside from repairing/reinstalling Windows that I can fix this?

    Sorry, neither forums nor newsgroups have ever worked that way

    I don't disagree that he's in the wrong group - I was just offering what may be a simple solution, and explaining why what he had tried already was probably not going to work. If it saves him the hassle of posting to a new forum, then job done. If it doesn't, then at least he has a little more data to take to the forum with him
