I don't disagree that he's in the wrong group - I was just offering what may be a simple solution, and explaining why what he had tried already was probably not going to work. If it saves him the hassle of posting to a new forum, then job done. If it doesn't, then at least he has a little more data to take to the forum with him

I'm trying to use a program that has previously worked flawlessly. This program is called GHTCP, which is used with Guitar Hero 3 PC. It requires .NET Framework 2.0 or higher to use. The .NET Framework versions are actually separate things - there's no guarantee that a program that uses .NET 2.0 will work with .NET 3.0 - you've been repairing the wrong Framework.

If you don't have .NET 2.0 installed, then you need to download and install.it - or the .NET 3.5 family, which does include .NET 2.0 (Confused? I was too!)
