access point appear: unidentified network
internet appear bloqued
access: Local only
connection: wireless connection.
Please help check what is the reason "local only".
ip is assigned automatically by DHCP, but is not possible to connect to internet, the problem appear only on windows vista Pcs, in my other computer with XP version the connection is good.
I have Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

Check how your security is setup on your AP. I had to mess with mine a bit. For some reason, my windows 7 machines have been sensitive to it, especially on netgear AP's

So what type of antivirus software do you have that will not cause this problem?? I have been dealing with this local access only for a few years, and yes, I have Norton installed! If that is indeed the answer, I will purchase new antivirus software TODAY!!! :-) Oh this is good........I am sitting here waiting to be reconnected to the internet! Lost my connection in the short time it took to type this reply!!!
