fix problem "local only" when connection is across a wireless connection

access point appear: unidentified network

internet appear bloqued

access: Local only

connection: wireless connection.

Please help check what is the reason "local only".

ip is assigned automatically by DHCP, but is not possible to connect to internet, the problem appear only on windows vista Pcs, in my other computer with XP version the connection is good.

I have Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

    uninstalling the driver, rescanning hardware and allowing Vista to reinstall the driver.  solved the problem for me.

    I have the same problem.

    Same machine Dell Inspiron 1525, same wireless card 1395, same message LOCAL ONLY.

    I run this FIx called MicrosoftFixit50357 downloaded from this post ->

    just click and restart the laptop and it worked.
