Accidentally deleted my Inbox! How do I recover my emails?

Original title: I wanted to completely delete my "deleted" file. Accidently deleted my "inbox" ! How do I recover my emails in my inbox???

Hi demmittb,

• Which email program are you using?

• Did you check the deleted items folder in your email program?

If you are using Windows mail, then you may try the following steps to recover the emails:

  1. Click on the "Deleted Items" folder in the Windows Mail navigation pane. The "Deleted Items" folder is listed under "Local Folders."

Locate the deleted message to recover in the main window of the "Deleted Items" folder.

3. Select the message to recover and click "Edit" in the menu bar. Click "Undelete" to recover the message. The message will be moved back to the Inbox.

    You can search the message store and see if the eml files are present.  If you go to Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Store folder, it will tell you the location.

    actually i need help i tried your advice but hey there is nothing in my deleted ietms .i just woke today and there was nothing in my inbox and the emails are not in my deleted items either .please help.no error has come yet.
