Programs Crash, error: Fault module kernelbase.dll . Application crash

Is realplayer 16+ a silverlight website?  mine is crashing on realplayer.  dang disgusting it truly is.

** What are the applications you are using?

** Does it throw error while launching the application or while working on it or while trying to install the application?

** Is the computer on a Domain or on a Workgroup?

You may want to check with the software manufacturer, if the application is compatible with Windows 7.

Application is Nero Kwik Media 12 (licensed). Crash occurs after application splash screens, immediately at application's main menu. Computer is on Windows 7 Workgroup but at present only PC (laptop) on network.

Nero Technical Support suggested issue might be related to .NET corruption, recommended uninstalling .NET 1.x, .NET 4.x, then for Win7 only installing .NET 4.0.  After uninstalling exisiting .NET versions I rebooted, downloaded current .NET 4.x versions directly from Microsoft Downloads, then installed .NET 4.0. I rebooted, checked Windows Update which updated .NET 4.0. After another restart I launched Nero Kwik Media 12 but the error above appeared again after application splash screens at application main menu.

The same issue appeared when I tried also installing .NET 4.5 (from Windows Downloads new download), rebooting, running Windows Updates for .NET 4.5 updates,, rebooting again then launching Nero Kwik Media 12 only to have to error persist.

FYI, all C++ runtime modules are current and up-to-date according to Windows Update.

OS: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

I have several programs that seems to be in some conflict with kernelbase.dll. They crash the moment I start them and kernelbase.dll is the fault module.

I've tried installing windows twice but the problem persist.

I've tried running in 'clean boot'.

I've tried 'Windows Resource Protection'

I've tried running the program in different compatability states.

Nothing helps. Any ideas?
