Programs Crash, error: Fault module kernelbase.dll . Application crash

I have several programs that seems to be in some conflict with kernelbase.dll. They crash the moment I start them and kernelbase.dll is the fault module.

I've tried installing windows twice but the problem persist.

I've tried running in 'clean boot'.

I've tried 'Windows Resource Protection'

I've tried running the program in different compatability states.

Nothing helps. Any ideas?

I guess you have answered it yourself. User Profile corruption.

Log in as a different User. rename the problem profile. Log in as the original user again. A new profile will get created. If the crash is gone, copy your over your user data from the corrupted one.

If it does not solve the issue. Repeat steps with default folder too. This is the template profile, when creating new profiles.

    User profiles are in C:\users<username with files you want to have/keep/use/copy/etc>. 

    If you have user data, it will be in folders My Documents, My Pictures, My etc. 

    Create a new user account in Control Panel/User Accounts. Logout. Login with the new user account to create the profile.  Ensure it opens without errors.

    I suggest a slight difference than the above sequence.  Create a folder at the root such as C:\Personal_Files.  Then copy user data from your original/old username's 'My' folders to that new folder for personal files.  This keeps your data out of the bootup/login searches and actions.

    Yes, copying them to the new user profile's folders will work, but if you have a lot of data, your bootup and/or login will take a lot longer than it did when you first logged in with the new username. 

    Optional to copy Favorites, Desktop, etc.  (You can discard copying anything from App Roaming, and other folders).
