Programs Crash, error: Fault module kernelbase.dll . Application crash

I have several programs that seems to be in some conflict with kernelbase.dll. They crash the moment I start them and kernelbase.dll is the fault module.

I've tried installing windows twice but the problem persist.

I've tried running in 'clean boot'.

I've tried 'Windows Resource Protection'

I've tried running the program in different compatability states.

Nothing helps. Any ideas?

I guess you have answered it yourself. User Profile corruption.

Log in as a different User. rename the problem profile. Log in as the original user again. A new profile will get created. If the crash is gone, copy your over your user data from the corrupted one.

If it does not solve the issue. Repeat steps with default folder too. This is the template profile, when creating new profiles.

    I don't know if this will help anyone or not.

    I was having a problem where Outlook was continually crashing.  I am running Windows 10 Enterprise and Outlook 2016.

    I found out that I had 2 problems.  Problem 1 was that I could not create PST files.  It would give me an unspecified error.

    I fixed problem 1 by adding the following registry key:

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office[Version#]\Outlook\

    REG_EXPAND_SZ

    ForcePSTPath

    Value - [Your chosen path]

    Problem 2 was that Outlook kept crashing repeatedly and I received the same kernel error as mentioned several times in this string.

    I ended up changing my compatibility settings for Outlook to Windows 7 and set Outlook to run as an Administrator.

    Afterwards Outlook stopped crashing and worked as expected.

    I changed the setting by right clicking on Oulook, going to properities, and changing the options on the compatibility tab.

    What is the KB number of the update?

    I suggest you to place the computer in a clean boot state and check if there are any software conflicts.

    After last Win10 update (yesterday?) one of my programs crashes immeadiately when I launch it.

    This is in Finnish but I think it doesn't matter because it seems to be same problem that all have..
