In the Screen Resolution window, under Change the appearance of your displays , click and drag one of the monitors to its correct location vs. the other one. The Identity numbers don't matter.

Windows 7 - Display 'A' Philips primary display - Display 'B' IBM secondary display. A shows as Identity 2 and B shows as Identity 1. I want to reverse these. Reason is that the cursor currently travels from display B to A and I need it to go the other way - due to physical location of displays

I think it is because MS https://www.dict.cc/englisch-deutsch/prioritize.htmlprioritizes a Hdmi Connector in the new operating systems and so Hdmi gets Display 1.
And the Drivers Features use Display 1 as Source.
No matter the World is as "Bilderberg" as it is and due to this it'll never get fixed and i'm forced to stay with XP/2K3.

2015-09-04T20:02:12+00:00 It's not at the OS level. It's beneath that, at the BIOS level, which is hardware-specific. The OS only knows what the BIOS tells it. Having said that, there are standards for the BIOS so perhaps those standards need to change for future implementations?
I fully agree. See my append dated 2015 February 14 as well.
Furthermore, in the meantime I replaced my original desktop that was connected to the TV via HDMI with a laptop.
With this HW , BIOS messages now always go to the laptop LCD, as opposed to the previous scenario.
It is either a BIOS or GPU card firmware problem.
It is NOT a Microsoft problem for sure , so they cannot fix it.
