I have had a wireless 3500 mouse for 3 months. Today I woke my laptop up and heard the usb disconnect sound. Mouse was dead! I checked it on my tower pc to confirm. The receiver was pretty hot to the touch.
I found this forum after doing a search and found the information very helpful. I received my mouse as a christmas present to go with my new laptop and didnt have my receipt. I was worried I was going to have to fight to get this mouse replaced. I called
the replacement service number provided here and had my mouse replaced with no hassle.
I was so satisfied with my 3500 that finding this thread was a disapointment. Because of the no hassle replacement I remain neutral. I have had plenty of problems in the past with trying to get products replaced. Most attempts without a receipt turned
into let downs.
Im crossing my fingers that this doesnt happen again with the replacement. Im not skeptical about microsoft peripherials at this time, but might be in the future, if my replacement has the same fate as its predecessor.
Thank you for no hassle Microsoft.
I hope you straigtened out the product designer or manufacturer on this one :)
