Right-click desktop, click View, and uncheck Auto arrange icons.

Can't move shortcut icons on my desktop to different locations on the desktop

I cannot move my desktop shortcut icons around on my desktop. Think it has something to do with the auto-allign feature - how do I fix this ?

2012-08-16T22:18:45+00:00 Have you tried a new keyboard. I was having the same problem because I had paperwork holding down my esc key....... Maybe yours is just stuck and you cant release it....
