To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
Cursor jumps around while typing
In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

2016-01-11T17:00:14+00:00 Thanks for these options. Doug3rd, I looked for the setting you mentioned, but my settings were slightly different, maybe because I am on Windows 10? At any rate, I did change the click delay (Settings, Devices, Mouse & Touchpad, and then set the Touchpad click to "short delay". So far typing this I have had no curser jumping. We'll see how it progresses. Thanks!!!

2016-01-11T17:17:46+00:00 If you look closely at the popup page where you changed the Touchpad Delay, at the very bottom is the link "Additional Mouse Options" If you click this you will get another popup page that says "Disable internal pointing device when external USBpointing device is attached". This is the box you need to check & apply and close out of.
