In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
I tried to download it but for some reason it didn't load. Besides the cursor issue I am also having problems with the screen jumping and page text changing all at the same time. I did try moving the pointer away as was suggested by someone else, for now I think I'll call Asus for some assistance since this did 't happen till Windows 10 loaded.
Your problem sounds like you are describing mine, but mine is now fixed. See my previous post. I updated the touchpad driver.
I don't know how lucky you'll be with the Asus gang. Their procedure seems to be to re-install windows first.
I have found a simple solution to this problem. I am using an ASUS laptop with Windows 7 Professional and Microsoft Word 2007. The jumping cursor has been a terrible problem for me and I have tried most of the configurations of the e-Lan touch pad that I have come across online; except downloading the Touch Freeze application.
I finally came across a permanent solution by going to Control Panel/Mouse/Pointers and selected "None" under Scheme. I have not had my cursor jump around since I made that change.
Sorry I am late responding to your post. I tried your suggestion, which makes sense, with no luck. I'm trying to contact Microsoft and see what they can offer.
I tried TouchFreeze too, but I couldn't get it to do anything.
As I already said, I updated the drivers to the touch pad. See my other posts in this thread for instructions.
