In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem.  I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it.  They put in a fix that worked.  Microsoft.  It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.

I will check this out, too - but I haven't been using a mouse, only the touchpad.  Was considering trying the mouse to see if that helped … probably not.  Sure wish Microsoft cared about this as I, too, have seen numerous videos, chats, etc. from people with the same problem.  Sigh.

Thanks, I will give this a try.  I, too, would prefer just buy outright, but 365 came at a tiny price bundled with the Surface, Type Cover, and Pen … so I figured I would try it.  Haven't really used much of it - other than  MS Word -  because of the cursor problems.  Thanks for the advice.

Ok - well, then … I will just have to go back to blaming Surface for having some kind of glitch!  It is maddening, frustrating, and it's unreliability slows my work.  Maybe someone on here will see this and respond with a solution.  Until then, I will carry on and pout over the money I spent for a product that doesn't work right.  I guess I should be glad that's all I have to be unhappy about - at the moment!  LOL

    I don't think it's a windows 10 or 365 problem. I don't have either one of these, my Windows is 7.
