To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
Cursor jumps around while typing
In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

2018-08-31T02:17:32+00:00 I will Google it but I do use a wireless mouse, doesn't stop it from jumping. It's always been a wireless mouse. Even without the mouse it jumps without the software I downloaded to block it. It's called something blocker, I'll have to look it up.

2018-08-30T22:08:51+00:00 Sandra,
I have also not been using a mouse but it happens with or without using the mouse. You may have something there, it only seems to work on laptops not desktops. I have a Dell XPS laptop, Windows 7 and very old for a laptop. Hoping for a new Mac as I'm going to make the jump. I've had nothing but problems with my Dell after I paid close to $1800 for it.
I wanted to tell you about the app I downloaded that takes care of the jumping and all the other crap. I'll have to start up to get the name so I'll post in another reply today. That works! I've already tried slowing down the cursor, nope, doesn't work either. I do not know how to (have looked endlessly) "turn off" the mouse other than just pulling that little? electronic plug in? For the mouse and that didn't work either.
