In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
Please let me know which solution you are referring to. There are several in this blog.
I have a sony vaio laptop and am experiencing the same problem while typing.e It is not restricted to any particular application. It seems to me that there may be a virus that hasn't been identified yet because it is happening to people who have a variety of different computer makes and models... Microsoft, please work on seeing if there is a keyboard virus or something like that where a hidden key click is being inserted or something. Just a thought. This has been going on for quite some time now and I think it is time for Microsoft to take it seriously.

I'm planning to disable the laptop mouse as moving the cursor does not work for very long it "corrects" itself!
How many hours and frustration level this has cost me is impossible to calculate!
I have heard of Touchfreeze but am reluctant to DL third party software.
I have disabled my mouse pad while typing because mine does the same thing.
