In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem.  I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it.  They put in a fix that worked.  Microsoft.  It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.

    As I have said previously,

my son resolved my cursor issue in seconds. He was watching me trying to type a email and getting frustrated with the cursor. Simple fix, I use my laptop at the dining room table and I was sitting too low to the keypad. I raised my seat and propped up my laptop at the back to get a better angle to type and problem solved. Because my wrists and elbows were lower than my finger tips I was unknowingly causing the problem.

This might not work for everyone, but it certainly worked for me.

Definitely worth a try as a cushion is free!

    Disable your touch screen!

I have seen this answer 100X!  This does NOT fix it!  Why would I have a touch screen computer/laptop and disable the touch screen?? Seriously?  I want it fixed - not disabled

I had this issue several years ago with my Asus and Windows 8.  All of a sudden yesterday with Windows 10 the issue returned and I forgot how I fixed it.  Everything I researched did not "fix it" until I tried turning the sticky keys on.  Thought it was fixed but now not sure?  don't tell me to disable my touch screen!  I have seen that answer 100X.  I want my touchscreen Asus laptop or I wouldn't have bought a touch screen?
