To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
Cursor jumps around while typing
In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

I must give a runners up shout out to the folks who suggested the touchfreeze program... when I get a few more minutes I might download that... since I still seem to have a bit of a problem when I do accidentally touch the pad whilst typing fast... I do rest my wrists on the computer....
to point out how much this helped, i took the time to set up a mc account just so i could comment
THANKS!
