In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem.  I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it.  They put in a fix that worked.  Microsoft.  It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.

    I used Norton Power Eraser and found a hidden virus named "run". Once I cleaned it also with Norton Power Eraser, my computer worked perfectly.  Norton 360 didn't find it but the power eraser did. My cursor is doing right. GL all

    Hi Kmc1

     Try this;

    Go to Start > control panel > select 'Mouse' > Mouse options > and uncheck box

     'pointer when typing'.
