When I try to "Find Printer (in MSWord, e.g.) I get the message: The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable.

I'm running Vista Ultimate (SP2) on a home network; and I'm the Administrator.

How do I make the ADDS available?

Microsoft Word is probably set not to trust your Network Locations

Go To File - Options - Trust Center - Trust Center Settings - Trusted Locations(tab on left) - on bottom check box Allow Trusted Locations on my network(I reccomend it).

    Problem Solved

The active directory domain services is currently unavailable means system’s connection with printer is missing. There is most probably a problem with the permissions, drivers, UAC etc. I got the solution to adding printer manually and updating drivers or granting access of printer ports and windows.
