clicking Find Printer shows error "The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable" i am on a home network

When I try to "Find Printer (in MSWord, e.g.) I get the message: The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable.

I'm running Vista Ultimate (SP2) on a home network; and I'm the Administrator.

How do I make the ADDS available?

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Answers forum! To add to Lorie – One’s suggestion, please try following the steps below:

>Go to Control Panel

> Select Printers

> Right-click on Add Printer

> Select Run as Administrator

Now try to add your network printer.

    My control panel doesn't have an option to click "printer". It has a link to "devices" but that doesn't lead to an "add printer" section.

    This worked for me.  following your directions.  My Print Spooler was on Manual, when I set to Automatic 3 min later I could start printing.

    Dear all.

    For the rest of people can't find the solution, try this way:

    Click Start

    Type services.msc and press enter

    A services menu comes up.  Scroll to Bluetooth Support Services and right click properties.  Change the startup type to "automatic" and then click "start" under service status
