clicking Find Printer shows error "The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable" i am on a home network

When I try to "Find Printer (in MSWord, e.g.) I get the message: The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable.

I'm running Vista Ultimate (SP2) on a home network; and I'm the Administrator.

How do I make the ADDS available?

Hello Dick Bard,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Answers forum! To add to Lorie – One’s suggestion, please try following the steps below:

>Go to Control Panel

> Select Printers

> Right-click on Add Printer

> Select Run as Administrator

Now try to add your network printer.

    Microsoft Word is probably set not to trust your Network Locations

    Go To Microsoft Word File - Options - Trust Center - Trust Center Settings - Trusted Locations(tab on left) - on bottom check box Allow Trusted Locations on my network(I reccomend it).

    i am still facing the same issue again and again.

    i have try restart window 7

    i have remove all cable and all printer wire

    i have install all printer drive again

     i have follow all 4 method from this site but still no help

    any one from microsoft team help me ?
