Cannot change desktop background in Windows 7 Home Premium

Yes, your problem is due to restrictions in Windows 7 Starter; by default it does not include the Personalization option.

However, all is not lost! There is a way.

i dont have a PERSONALIZE option when i RIGHT CLICK existing desktop. how is this so? is it because i am only using windows 7 starter edition?

yep, mine was corrupted image file too, thanks so much i began to flip thinking i had a virus or something
