Windows update service not running

I followed that procedure,  after it the problem has been solved.

Step 1:

Execute the problem solution from Microsoft for Windows Update.

Do this task, download from this  link and  execute: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9830262

Step 2:

Redefine Windows Update components  manually.

At  initial menu enter CMD, click with the mouse right button on the prompt icon, selecting the option execute as  administrator.

On the Command Prompt enter the following commands and press enter after each one.

net stop wuauserv

net stop bits 

net stop cryptsvc 

net stop msiserver

• Re start BITS service and  Windows Update service. To do that, enter the following commands on the command prompt as administrator;

net start bits

net start wuauserv

net start cryptsvc

net start MSIServer

netsh winsock reset all

netsh int 6to4 reset all

netsh int ipv4 reset all

netsh int ipv6 reset all

netsh int httpstunnel reset all

netsh int isatap reset all

netsh int portproxy reset all

netsh int tcp reset all

netsh int teredo reset all

Step 3:

Stop  Windows Update services using the following commands on the command prompt.

net stop wuauserv

net stop bits 

net stop cryptsvc

Rename Windows Update folders as follows bellow:

At my Computer click on C: ;

At the Windows folder

Find the folders bellow, click with the mouse right button on them and select rename option, click on rename.   Then Add .old at the end of each folder name;

c:/ > Windows > System32 > catroot2 para catroot2.old

c:/ >  Windows > SoftwareDistribution para  SoftwareDistribution.old

Re start all the  services again;

net start bits

net start wuauserv

net start cryptsvc

net start MSIServer

Test windows uodate
