I frequently get STOP 9F bugchecks after my system has been running for awhile and I attempt to put it to sleep or hibernate.

Below is the Bugcheck Analysis:

Can anyone help with this?

I hve identified the problem, but unfortunately do not have a solution. The problem is indeed the dirver NETw5s64.sys.

see --> http://communities.intel.com/thread/10055 for additonal discussion of the problem Intel needs to update this driver.

If I connect using a wired connection, all works as it should. I can put the system to sleep and wake it up as it should work. However, if I connect using the wireless connection, after using it for some amount of time, the computer will not sleep. THe screen goes blank, disk activity continues for some time and eventually the system gets to STOP 9F.

This and other prblems with this driver and discussed in the above link!!

Can you copy and paste the web address of the folder where the dump files are, here?

The files should be in a "public folder".

From the minidump files there are several different stop errors but the vast majority seem to reference the NETw5s64.sys or the afd.sys (Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock).

There was a BAD_POOL_CALLER stop error with a reference again to the NETw5s64.sys.

I would suspect another third party driver is at the root of the problem.

At this point, I would suggest to turn on the Driver Verifier against all non-Microsoft drivers to stress test them and try to weed out a problematic driver:

Start > type verifier in the Search programs and files box and press "Enter" > Create standard settings > Next > Select driver names from a list > then select all non-Microsoft drivers > Finish

    Restart the computer.

Continue to use the computer normally but if you experience any BSODs make available the minidump files.

If after enabling the Driver Verifier and restarting the computer you receive a BSOD on startup and cannot start Windows, restart the computer in "Safe Mode" and do the following:

Start > type verifier in the Search programs and files box and press "Enter" > Delete existing settings > Finish

Restart the computer, log into Normal Mode, and make available any resulting minidump file.
