My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart.  Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)

Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)

Then click OK.

Does it come back?

I must be in that "1%" as well.  On my new laptop running Windows 7, if it goes into sleep mode, it always removes the taskbar.  However, I just did what angel_chickxx said and it worked perfectly.  I plan to continue to use this solution and am hoping it will consistently work.  Thanks for the tip!

M5Power:  I had this problem with both screensaver types (preloaded on my laptop and 2nd party).  I have found that the solution that angel_chickxx posted has worked each and every time.  (Solution:  preview your screensaver.  When you get out of the preview, your taskbar should be there.)  I know it's aggravating and something we shouldn't have to do but there's always glitches in every program, right?  Let us know if this works.  Good luck!
