My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart.  Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)

Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)

Then click OK.

Does it come back?

My taskbar does the same thing everytime I leave my laptop up and when it goes to sleep mode.  Every single time I wake it up...the taskbar vanishes

They were unawar of this problem and said they would look into it. I told them I read an article saying that 1% of windows 7 users is having this problem.

Likewise.  If you click on the desktop and hit the F1 function key, help comes up with a troubleshooter.  None of the solutions work.  I even tried resetting the location to top, left or right.  The "Start" button moves, but no taskbar.  Annoying.

My taskbar has been doing the same thing. The space is there where it should be but there is nothing there except the windows button. It can disappear at anytime but usually is gone after awakening from sleep mode
